When I modified my flasher relay, I initially had 0.15 ohm resistors soldered in but still got the hyperflash. Added anther 0.15 ohm in series -same result. Swapped to 0.12 ohm resistors - same result. Then started adding resistors in parallel until the hyperflash stopped.Another option is to change out the flasher relay to a LED compatible one. Downside to doing this is that you will likely lose the auto cancelling function (unless you can find a 5 pin relay).
