I have been looking for an IWB holster to be carried about 3:30 - just behind my right hip. Tacops gets you a magwell, extended slide release, and 2 more mags (4 total). Mags are $50-60, SIG must be proud of them! I went for the Tacops version after shooting only the comp version but other P365xl. 365 Macro - same size slide as the XL, but with a X sized barrel. The grip is considerably larger than the X/XL. I was suprised based on all the numerous Sig shill youtube reviews claiming it was a similar size as an X/XL. The grip is the exact same size as my HK P2000 which isn't easy for me to conceal in TX summer.

The new (for 2023) P365 XMACRO is the same as the TACOPS but without the mag well and it comes with 2 magazines instead of 4. And can be had with or without a manual safety. All 3 are 9mm. All 3 carry 17 rounds of 9mm per mag. All 3 have the same longer grip. I'd probably go with the Comp'd Macro if money isn't the biggest deal. Macro TACOPS if you want the extra accessories and two extra mags (better deal than the comp'd version). XL if you want to print less and save ~$200. Could always buy the Macro grip and magazines later but you save more money/benefit more by initially choosing a Macro model.

Tested macro barrel and saw velocity was lower with 124 hst than what I had with old Xl barrel. So found complete XL slide for cheap and put it on macro frame. The P365 XL has a more compact grip than 43x MOS by about 1/4” which makes a difference for concealability. I’m a 43x MOS guy (hence why I am on this sub) but because the magazine doesn’t fit flush the grip is just long. Add an optic to it and the height of 43x is a lot. I’ve had all of the above.
