1. Re: Acadia in early April. 4 years ago. Save. I hate to be negative, but the first week of April really isn't a very good time to visit Acadia. The entire Park Loop Road doesn't open to car access until April 15th. The spur to the top of Cadillac Mountain sometimes doesn't even open then because of ice at higher elevations.
